The history of the educational institution dates back to October 28, 1992, when by order of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia No. 387, the Pskov Special Secondary School of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia was formed, which was located on the southeastern outskirts of the city of Pskov.
