Today I want to bring to your attention a very simple, but no less delicious salad with smoked sausage, croutons and corn. The fact is that it is prepared in literally 10-15 minutes from simple and accessible ingredients for all, and does not require a high level of culinary skill at all, because the processes are all elementary. All that is required of you is the ability to cut food beautifully and a good mood!
I don’t even remember how this recipe appeared in my culinary notebook. Probably, it was a very long time ago, because the set of products, one might say, is "out of date", but the taste of the finished dish is very pleasant and piquant. Of course, I do not prepare such a salad for a banquet table, but snacks for a home dinner, probably, cannot be better imagined.
I especially like the original combination of products, because the main ingredient in the dish is smoked sausage, and to it I add fresh cucumbers, which give freshness, boiled eggs and sweet corn for tenderness, wheat croutons for spice and originality. As a dressing, I use different sauces - or store-bought mayonnaise, sour cream or natural yogurt.
Serving the salad is traditional - I mix the chopped foods in a salad bowl with sauce, sprinkle with finely chopped herbs and green onions.

Ingredients:

- smoked sausage ("Cervelat" type) - 150 g,
- sweet corn - 100 g,

So, first, remove the food or artificial casing from the smoked sausage, put a piece of meat stick on a cutting board and chop it into small cubes or straws up to 5-6 millimeters thick.

Then we rinse the tomatoes under streams of cold running water, dry them with paper kitchen towels, put them on a new cutting board using a clean knife, remove from each place where the stalk was attached, and cut the rest of the tomatoes in the same way as the previous ingredient, either into slices or quarters. We move them into a fine mesh sieve and leave in the sink for 5-7 minutes or until use, so that excess juice is drained from the vegetable.

Then we remove the paraffin crust from the hard cheese and grind it into squares or chop it on a fine medium or coarse grater.

Then we print the packaging with rye croutons, pour them into a deep plate and separate the excess crumbs, they will not be needed. If the bread products are very large, for example, very long, then it is better to break them into several parts beforehand. After that we put mayonnaise on the countertop and proceed to the next step.

Step 2: prepare a salad with croutons and sausage.


Put prepared sausage, crackers in a deep bowl, hard cheese, tomatoes, optionally some finely chopped green onions and season them with mayonnaise to taste. Mix everything very carefully with a tablespoon until a homogeneous consistency, so as not to crush the tomatoes, distribute the finished salad in portions on plates, decorate with herbs if desired and serve.
