(from the Internet)

Paper is the simplest, most accessible and easily processed material. Depending on the idea and purpose of the product, paper is used that differs in thickness, texture, texture and color.
The wet folding technique takes advantage of the ability of wet paper to retain its shape after drying. The secret lies in paper sizing - a water-soluble glue that binds paper fibers and gives it rigidity. When the paper is wetted, the glue dissolves, the fibers separate from each other and the sheet becomes soft and pliable. When drying, the reverse process occurs and the paper takes on the desired shape.
To create flowers using this technique, you can use paper for watercolors, pastels of various colors, cardstock or whatman paper. The paper thickness must be at least 80-120 g/m and up to 200 g/m. I bought paper at an artist's store individually.
The master class is based on the example of this rose. I wish you pleasant viewing.

It is necessary to prepare materials and tools:

A sheet of white office paper;
- green and yellow (color optional) paper with a density of 160 g/m2, one sheet of A-4 format;
- green corrugated paper or tape;
- a piece of wire 25cm long;
- scissors;
- wire cutters;
- PVA glue;
- a simple pencil;
- a ballpoint pen with a non-writing refill;
- tool for embossing - boulka;
- protractor;
- ruler with round holes of different sizes;
- a needle (like a darning needle, with a blunt tip);
- a soft mat or backing (the kind was in the box with the shoes);
- cloth napkin.

First you need to prepare a petal template. The blank is 6-petal. To do this, you need to measure a square with a side of 6 cm on a sheet of office paper.

Cut out this square and fold it in half.

Mark the middle of the resulting rectangle - 3cm. Use a protractor to mark 60 degree angles. 180:3=60. Draw the lines.

Fold the workpiece in thirds along these lines.

From edge to edge, draw the outline of the edge of the petal. Cut out.

Open the template, mark the middle.

We trace the template on a yellow sheet of thick paper. One flower requires 6 blanks. It is better to do the tracing with a non-writing ballpoint pen, this way there will be no pencil marks on the paper that could ruin appearance flower. Along the long side of the sheet, across the width of the workpiece, cut a strip of paper, fold it like an accordion and cut out the petals. From one such segment you will get 4 pieces.

The rose preparations are ready.

Pierce the blanks with an awl in the middle. Cut the petals towards the middle. As in the photo.

Moisten the paper. Fold them into a stack and hold them under a tap of water for 1-2 seconds, then run your fingers over the pieces, distributing the water. Place it under water again and quickly remove it. You can place one piece at a time in a container of water and remove it immediately. For any option, place the workpiece on a wet cloth. Do not wring the napkin too hard, just so that the water does not flow. If the room is hot, place the blanks between layers of fabric. We only work with wet parts. For clarity, dry and wet workpieces.

At the end of a piece of wire, use pliers to make a small bend in the form of a loop, leaving a little space.

Make the center for the flower out of paper to match the color of the flower. To do this, fold several short, narrow strips into a stack. Place the wire in the loop in the middle and press the wire to the end.

Glue the ends of the paper together to form a ball or drop. You can use a foam ball with a diameter of about 10-12mm.

The first blank put it on the wire up to the ball. Apply glue
on 2 opposite petals.

Wrap the first petal into a cone shape and let it stick together well.

Glue the second petal on top of each other, creating a cone. Let it stick together well.

Apply glue to the next 2 opposite petals. Glue it into a cone as well.

Glue the last pair of petals in the same way. Press down the resulting corners at the base. This was perhaps the most difficult stage.

string second part petals on wire. Apply glue to three petals, one after another.

Glue them in a circle, moving them behind each other.

Glue the remaining petals in the same way. And while they are wet, you can slightly bend the edges of these petals. Press the resulting corners of the base. You can place the structure in a hole of suitable diameter. The size depends on the thickness of the paper.

Third detail. Twist the edges of the petals at an angle of 90 degrees using a needle. As in the photo. We work with wet workpieces!

Thread the third piece onto the wire, with the curled edges down. Apply glue and glue the petals in threes.

After gluing the last petals, press the corners of the base.

Place the flower in a suitable hole on a ruler with a round hole. This way the petals will stick together at the same time. And the workpiece will dry out a little.

U fourth, fifth and sixth parts twist the corners of the petals using a needle (like the third part). Turn the piece over with the folds facing down. On a soft mat (backing), twist the workpiece, as if rolling it with a roll from center to middle. I have this homemade instrument. You can use a nail polish cap with a round top.

You will get this detail.

Insert each part into the holes of a ruler of suitable diameter, straighten the petals. Allow the pieces to dry completely. You can use a hairdryer.

Dry parts take on the appearance of a cup. Apply glue to the base of the flower and stick it so that the petals are in a checkerboard pattern, straightening the petals.

It will turn out like this.

Glue in the same way 5th And 6th details. Place the flower in a ruler hole of a suitable diameter.

Sepals pattern. To do this, cut out a square with a side of 6cm. Find the middle and divide into 5 parts using a protractor. Angle = 72 degrees. 360:5=72. Draw lines 3cm long, randomly draw sharp petals. No special precision is required.

Trace the template on green paper using a non-writing pen. Cut out. Make a hole in the middle with an awl. Cut each petal into a herringbone pattern.

Moisten the part and immediately curl the edges with your fingers, giving the workpiece a “shaggy” look.

Apply glue to the base of the flower and glue the part.

Preparing the leaves. Draw a rose leaf measuring about 3ms long and 2.5 cm wide. I selected the size of a real rose leaf and traced it.

Trace the template on green paper, fold the piece in three like an accordion and cut out the leaves. Then 2 more sheets.

Moisten the leaves, place them on a substrate and draw out the veins with a needle. Guide the needle at a slight angle from the sheet. Let dry.

Cut a strip about 20cm long and 2mm wide from a sheet of green paper. You can do it arbitrarily, so to speak, “by eye.” Glue it in half lengthwise (for rigidity), as in the photo.

Form a rose branch with leaves. Glue the leaves - one on the edge of the strip, the rest on the side in pairs. Only 5 leaves. You can have 3 leaves.

Cut a strip about 1 cm wide from corrugated paper and paste it over the stem of the rose, not forgetting to attach a twig with leaves. Instead of corrugated paper, you can use tape.

Thick colored paper can be replaced with whatman paper "Goznak" (it feels a little less dense to the touch) or watercolor paper (it is thicker).

Good afternoon. Today I want to show you the fastest ways to create paper roses. And give ready-made diagrams and templates for do-it-yourself paper roses. We will start with the fastest ways (that even a child can do) - that is, the lesson is suitable for educators kindergarten, and teachers primary classes. And then we’ll move on to more complex techniques for making paper roses. You will also find here workshops on making large roses from paper, suitable for decorating holidays and wedding ceremonies.

Let's start making paper roses with your own hands. But first, let’s make a small digression and see what practical application your future rose crafts will find.

Paper roses

For all occasions.

Paper roses can decorate your gift wrapping. Moreover, you can make your own cardboard packaging with your own hands. Below I give a drawing of a box in the form of a piece of cake with paper rose cream.

You can use paper roses to serve the table at a romantic dinner, anniversary, or wedding.

Paper roses can become part of the festive decor at a wedding. Roses can become a bride's bouquet. Such a bouquet will be nice to keep for the friend who caught it.

You can give a bouquet of such roses to your loved ones and friends. Wrap it in music paper and decorate it with dew drops from ordinary Soviet SILICATE GLUE.

You can decorate a wall in your house with them or decorate a holiday. Run a wire along the wall and tie paper roses and leaves onto it.

THREE FAST WAYS

Make a rose out of paper.

For those who are in a hurry, at the very beginning of the article I include the three fastest ways to make a rose with your own hands from paper. These methods already have stencil templates. You need to quickly trace, cut and assemble the rose.

The first method is to string layers of rose petals onto string (or wire). Each layer is 2 petals (opposite in vector). Between them in the central roundel there is a hole made with a hole punch.

Here's the diagram. You can place a piece of paper directly on your monitor screen. The diagram will be visible on the surface of the sheet. Quickly trace the outline with a pencil. Cut them out - and now you have the blanks in your hands.

Now you need to do:

  • 3 pieces of the first size,
  • 2 pieces of the second size,
  • 2 pieces of the third size,
  • and the middle part (No. 4).

I drew the middle part small, it didn’t fit on the diagram– you can leave it like this, or you can increase it. You can draw it yourself - in fact, it is an ordinary snail, one side of which looks like petals drawn by hand. Draw a spiral, snails, and then outline it with petal arches.

Or you can enlarge it on the screen MPa - to do this, press and hold the Ctrl key with one hand, and with the other hand, rotate the mouse wheel away from you (this will make the picture enlarge a little) - achieve the desired degree of magnification - and trace this enlarged part onto a sheet of paper.

By the way, you can tint the details with watercolors, walk through the browns of the petals - so that the rose has shades and halftones. This way it will look more natural.

The diagram for assembling a paper rose is shown in the photo below.

Step 1. First we string it onto the hole three big details– we move them relative to each other so that the petals spread out in a circle. And we fix it with glue, glue the round middle parts of the part together.

Step 2. Then we string 2 pieces of second size– cross to cross, petals on 4 sides.

Step 5. On top of the glued rope we place our snail spiral, which can be slightly twisted in your hands and wrapped so that it fits into a petal twist.

Step 6. On top of this twist draw the center of the rose with a marker. Or glue bead. Or cut any paper stamen. Or roll it up crumpled piece of colored paper and insert like a paper bead in the center. That is, use what you have on hand.

Terry paper rose.

You can also take any shape of petals and also change their size to get a template for a new rose with your own hands. Here stencils for shaggy roses with uneven edges of paper petals.

Lush rose with rounded petals.

Here in the picture I painted over the petals specifically- as a hint that you can make a rose in which the color of the center smoothly flows to the edges - from dark pink to light pink, as happens with some varieties of natural roses.

You can increase the size of the template by pressing the Ctrl button on your keyboard and rolling the mouse wheel away from you (or towards you to make it smaller).

And then place a sheet of paper on the screen and trace the translucent design with a pencil.

2 ways to make a rose

Made from crepe paper

We cut the paper into rectangles. Then we place these rectangles on top of each other with their corners (as in the figure below). Each time we put a drop of glue under the bottom - so that in this linear installation all the parts are glued to each other at the corners. As a result, we got a toothed tape.

In the photo, this rose contains candy inside. But this is optional. You can use a ball of crumpled paper. And so, around this lump we begin to wrap our jagged tape. As a result, we received a bud.

Now we need another toothed belt - but from semicircular parts. Tape with rounded teeth. We wrap the bud with this rounded ribbon of petals - and we get a plump, lush paper rose.

Here's another one quick way make a rose from crepe paper.

We fold the papers into even wide folds - so that they do not move relative to each other, we fasten them with a stapler.

We cut out a petal from this fold - large, medium, small - we get a pack of petals of each size.

We make blanks from green crepe paper.

We make a cocoon around the wire from a strip of crepe paper. When the cocoon is thick, we begin to shape the petals - we spread each one with glue in the lower part.

We start with small ones, move to medium ones and end with large ones. We get a lush paper rose from crepe corrugated paper.

As you can see, a rose is also quickly and easily obtained. Good way for those who stocked up on crepe paper.

From the manner of arranging rose petals, and it depends on their shape, what kind of rose you will get. Here in the photo below we see roses, also created in the same way– but they look a little different. Because the shape of the petals is different.

In nature, there are a variety of roses - you can see that they differ in the shape of their petals. You too can develop your own varieties of roses from crumpled paper. If each petal is crushed, squeezed at its top, then we will get a new rose bud, a half-closed, rumpled terry variety.

Well, now let's move on to the painstaking techniques of creating a paper rose. There will be more complex, less fast ways to make a paper rose. But this is only for the first time. Once you gain experience, you will be able to twist such roses with closed hands - quickly and without fuss.

Paper rose

FROM TWISTED STRIP.

If you take an ordinary STRAIGHT strip of paper, you can wrap it in a rose. Just start wrapping it around the toothpick. First we make the winding with a regular roll. And then we continue to wrap the paper tape around itself with a TWIST.

That is, the tape simply twists - with an oblique bend. We make twists as we wrap the ribbon around the stick.

Take any unnecessary sheet of paper (draft) right now, cut a strip and try to twist it like this. Practice a couple of evenings - and one day you will figure out exactly how to twist the ribbon in the BEAUTIFUL way - how often to make twist turns, at what angle.

And also – using the same technique – you can also fold a rose from a straight strip of CREPE PAPER. Fold the long strip carelessly along in half. And wrap it around the base stick in the same way. It will work out lush delicate paper rose.

Ball-trees in a pot are decorated with such roses. A foam ball is covered with crepe roses and stuck into a pin sticking out of a flower pot.

Here is a rose twisted from a red and green napkin. Fast and easy.

Paper rose

SPIRAL METHOD

(and 4 of its varieties)

You can take not direct strip of paper - and spiral paper strip. And then we will get a new rose model. Like this one.

But this model is complex - it’s a bit difficult to twist and glue it. There is nothing for ordinary pva glue to cling to - although it works, you need to hold it with your hands for a long time. It is best to use glue from a hot gun in this model - then the work will go faster.

Here is a master class that shows how to make such a rose from paper. On a sheet of cardboard we draw a spiral-snail. Cut it out. And we begin to twist it around the stick. PLEASE NOTE the twisting does not start from the middle end - but from the edge.

This method of making a paper rose there are modifications- that is, slightly modified options. Let's look at them.

Modification of the spiral method No. 1 – PEAL.

We start twisting and assembling the rose in exactly the same way - not from the central edge of the spiral - but from the outer edge.

The arches of the petals on such a spiral rose DO NOT HAVE TO BE ROUND. You yourself can change the shape of the edge and get new varieties of paper roses.

For example, here is a template with jagged Jagged EDGES of pink petals. Or a rose with a sharp petal.

Modification of the spiral method No. 2 – SQUARE.

And here another modification of this method make a rose out of paper. Here our spiral is not round - but square - and even with uneven edges. And this is the rose that comes out of it. Uneven as if alive, recently blossomed wild Rose.

Modification of the spiral method No. 3 – ADDITIONAL PETALS

And here is a spiral rose, which is pasted around the edges with lush convex petals.

Step 1. Making a spiral rose. This will be the middle of our future lush rose.

Step 2. We prepare flat petals - 4 pieces of each size (small, medium, large).

Step 3. Cut each petal at the bottom. And we place the edges of the cut on top of each other, on the glue. This is how the petals become convex.

Step 4. Cover the rose with petals, first smaller ones, then larger ones.

Modification of the spiral method No. 4 – LACE

And instead of a spiral shape, you can take a ROUND shape. And also roll the round strip into a rose.

And to make it more elegant, you can take this round strip from a lace paper napkin, as in the photo below.

You can also cut the same rose not from paper - but from felt, or even from a fluffy washcloth.

PAPER ROSES

From toilet paper rolls.

Here is a master class where a rose is made from recycled cardboard.

Step 1. A six-petal template is cut out of plain paper using the snowflake method. That is, we fold a square sheet as for a snowflake and cut it in a semicircle). We unfold it and get a flower.

Step 2. Cut the toilet paper rolls, flatten them on a wet towel - press them, then dry them

Step 3. We transfer the template to the sleeve paper - then we roll up the rose. The first layer is in a tight bud. We design the other layers as lush rose petals made of paper.

ROSES FROM PAPER

SNOWFLAKE method.

I called this method a snowflake because the beginning of creating such a rose coincides with the beginning of cutting out a snowflake from paper. Here, too, you need to fold a sheet of paper into four, and then into a triangle. And cut out a semicircular module from it - when you unfold it, you get an octagonal flower.

Cut out 4 octagonal flowers. These will be 4 tiers of our future rose. Each tier needs to be changed.

  • In the upper tier we remove 4 petals with scissors (4 remain)
  • In the second tier we remove 3 petals (5 remain)
  • In the third tier we remove 2 petals (6 remain)
  • In the fourth lower tier of the rose, remove 1 petal (7 remain)

Now you need to glue these trimmed flowers into cups - to do this, we place one marginal petal on the second marginal petal - with glue. We get cups - 2 petals, 4 petals, 5 petals, 6 petals.

We bend the petals of each cup using a round pencil. We put the cups on each other. At the bottom we glue a green paper bottom to them - they are attached to it with glue.

We fold the leaves into a fan. Forming a flower.

And using exactly the same method you can make a rose from the same roll of toilet paper.

In this way you can create any type of paper rose. With torn petals, with round petals, with pointed ones.

Large paper rose

TECHNIQUE OF INDIVIDUAL PETALS.

You can make a large rose - where each petal is the size of an A4 sheet. We buy colored office paper – a whole pack. We cut the petals into different sizes. We make each petal convex - for this we make a cut in its lower part with scissors - and glue the sides of the cut overlapping each other.

Then we collect the colors on a round paper base. We cut a folded sheet of paper into a fringe - and roll it into a roll - YOU RESULT IN A stamen of a rose.

Depending on the shape of the petals, you can get different shapes of paper roses. Below you can see how your imagination can create new pink flowers.

The same color of paper can create an interesting composition of roses if all the flowers are of different shapes and sizes.

Here are some ready-made templates for such large paper roses. YOU can come up with your own petal shapes. And see what comes of it in the end.

In such roaa it is not necessary to make a TWICE STAMINA. Can be done spiral rose center(lesson earlier in this article).

Or you can make the middle in the form of a DENSE BUD. In the master class below we see just such a rose. And you can see How exactly is such a boot assembled? it is made of a cross-shaped petal shape . Each side has a cross and rises up and crumples into a bud.

You can make a large rose for a beautiful photo portfolio. Buy a pack of pink office paper and collect your own unique paper rose - so big and lush.

And from the scraps of this office paper make the roses smaller. They can be used to decorate festive table. Or paste over the mirror frame. Use as decor on gift wrapping. You can also make an artificial bouquet from these paper roses.

Moreover no matter what shape you have leftover scraps of paper. To make such a rose, it is not necessary to take petals of a SYMMETRICAL SHAPE. You can twist a rose from irregularly shaped petals.

Cut it out three petals in the shape of a heart(these will be the edge petals). We cut each of them at the bottom - and put the cuts overlapping each other - on glue.

And then we glue such convex petals to each other.

Three other half-shaped petals– we roll them into a roll – on top of each other. We glue the roll into the middle of our first three petals using strips of paper. We get a rose.

These are the ideas for paper roses that I have collected in this article. Now you have become an expert in this matter - and you understand perfectly well that you can do all this with your own skillful hands. So get down to business and let your world bloom with lush roses of happiness.

Happy paper roses.

Now we will tell you how to make a large and very beautiful rose. This magnificent rose is perfect for romantic and tender photo shoots. This rose can serve as an unusual setting for various events from birthdays to weddings. The most important thing is that making such a rose will not be difficult.

For our master class on creating a large rose from corrugated paper you will need the following materials (material is indicated for one rose):

  • a roll of colored adhesive tape (you can also use tape, or corrugated paper, electrical tape, paper construction tape, the latter will then need to be painted in green color)
  • double-sided corrugated paper (the color of the paper will determine the color of the bud)
  • green paper for leaves (green);
  • wire
  • pencil or pen
  • glue gun for needlework (one rod);
  • templates prepared in advance from white paper for manufacturing: five small petals in the form of a drop; fifteen large petals in the shape of a heart; three for a leaf per stem; one accordion petal for sepal.

When you have prepared all the materials, move on to the instructions for creating a large rose.

How to make a big paper rose.

1. We take template blanks, colored corrugated paper and cut out petals and leaves (cut so that the paper strips are vertical):

- five small petals in the form of a drop;

- fifteen large petals in the shape of a heart.

Now take the green corrugated paper and cut it out:

- three for a leaf per stem;

- one accordion petal for the sepals.

2. Let's start forming the rose petals.

3. We take each petal in turn with both hands and stretch it from the center to the sides.

4. Let's start with the petals in the form of droplets, take a pencil or pen and twist them slightly, giving a slight curve to each petal for the rose bud.

5. Now we take the heart petals and curl the top of their edges with a pencil, first the right one, then the left one.

6. Your petals should look like the picture.

7. Next, let's prepare the stems. Let's take a wire and a roll of colored adhesive tape (you can also use tape, or corrugated paper, green electrical tape, paper construction tape, the latter will then need to be painted green). We wrap the stem from start to finish, pressing the corrugated paper or tape tightly to the wire with our own hands.

8. You should get a stem like in the picture.

9. Let's move on to creating the bud, namely the inner part of the rose. We take the first droplet-shaped petal and attach the tip to the stem (to the wire) using electrical tape or tape.

10. So, with each petal in the form of a drop, we attach it to the stem in turn.

11. You have done the inside of the rose.

12. Once again, carefully wrap and secure the bottom of the petals with your hands.

13. Now we open the outer petals of the rose. For this we need heart-shaped petals.

14. We wrap each heart petal around the inside of the rose with a slight indentation from each other.

15. Carefully straighten and carefully secure each petal with colored adhesive tape.

16. When all the petals have been attached, we once again wrap the base of the rose bud with tape or electrical tape.

17. Half the battle is done - the bud is ready.

18. The rose should now look like the picture.

19. Now let’s take a petal from the blanks with an accordion for the sepal and wrap it around the base of the bud.

20. We wrap the sepal on top and secure it with tape or adhesive colored tape.

21. Now let’s take from the blanks three leaves on a stem of green corrugated paper, three wires and attach the leaves to each wire in turn. This can be done using a glue gun or regular PVA glue.

22. Fold it in half (the middle is the wire) and iron the gluing area with your own hands.

23. Straighten the sheet, it should look like in the picture.

24. Now apply a little glue to the base of the petal.

25. We wrap the wire (with the same paper that you originally used for the stem), starting from the base of the leaf where the glue was applied.

26. When winding, apply a little glue to the other end of the wire and turn the tip (here you can use double-sided tape).

27. Now we take all three blanks with leaves and distribute them evenly around the stele. We secure it with tape or colored adhesive tape to the stem.

28. Next, starting from the base of the bud and moving evenly to the end of the stem, we wrap it again with corrugated green paper.

29. Iron the paper well with your hands, especially pay attention to the bases where the branches with leaves are attached, in order for the rose to look harmonious, you need to do a thorough but neat wrapping at this point. We secure the ends of the paper, as we did in step No. 26.

30. Congratulations! Your gorgeous big rose is ready!

31. It should be approximately this size in relation to you.

32. It will look wonderful and impressive if you make a bouquet of an odd number of large roses!

If at any stage you have any difficulties, be sure to write in the comments, we will be happy to help you.

Paper flowers are an excellent decorative element and decoration for any gift. However, complex methods of creating bouquets are not suitable for everyone. Many novice needlewomen are interested in the question: how to make a paper rose with your own hands? By following the instructions below, you can create your own jewelry.

Content

You can surprise your girlfriend, friends or guests with paper crafts. Paper flowers will decorate any gift or feast. Choose your option from those offered here.

Paper crafts are an accessible and fun activity. Paper imitation sometimes resembles natural things so much, it’s simply amazing. For example, some people know how to make a rose out of paper, but not everyone can create it as close as possible to a real rose.

You can make paper roses yourself, involve children as helpers, or even do it with friends. This will certainly be appreciated by the women around you. The instructions below will help you realize your plans.

How to make a rose from colored paper

This method is very simple. All you need is paper suitable color, stationery scissors and glue. You can show your imagination and color the most ordinary white sheet with paints, felt-tip pens, and so on, so that you end up with a truly unique decoration.

Draw a square with a side of 10 cm on a piece of paper. Inside the square, draw a spiral by hand. Use scissors to carefully cut the spiral to create a strip of even width. Start rolling the rose, starting from outer end spirals. While twisting, glue the turns to each other at the base of the rose, trying to twist the flower as tightly as possible. The finished rose can be supplemented with leaves of a different color. Use any stick or twig as a stem for the rose.

Here is another option on how to make a paper rose.

How to make a rose from a napkin

You can decorate a holiday table or surprise friends at a cafe table if... All you need is a napkin and own hands. Recommendation: the napkin should be single-layered and of a suitable color, preferably pink.

Fold a strip about 5 cm wide along one edge of the napkin and grasp it with two fingers, holding the napkin between them. Carefully wrap the napkin around your fingers along the entire remaining width to form a tube. About a third of the height of the tube from the top, begin to twist it, forming a tight stem. After twisting the stem about half its length, bend the bottom edge of the napkin up. This will be a leaf. Continue twisting the stem until the very end.

Tip: to prevent the rose from unwinding, strengthen it with regular hairspray.

Satin ribbon rose

Eat different ways making a satin rose. Let's look at the simplest one. You will need a needle and thread to match the ribbon, scissors and the ribbon itself. A narrow ribbon for one flower will require no more than a meter, and a wide one (6 cm) will require more, about one and a half meters.

Start working from one edge of the tape. The end must be bent at an angle of 45 degrees and secured with thread. Along one side of the tape we make stitches along its entire length. Pulling the end of the thread, slightly gather the ribbon. We wrap it around the curved tip, forming petals. To give the flower strength, we make through stitches through the entire flower. At the end of the work, we hide the tip of the tape at the base of the flower.

Corrugated rose

Crepe paper allows you to create roses that are very similar to real fresh flowers.There are several popular techniques for making roses. When choosing a method, you should focus on the availability of free time and available materials.

For one flower you will need:

  • Corrugated sheets of two colors - for petals and for leaves.
  • The base for the stem is a stick, a twig, or a wire.
  • Glue or electrical tape.

Cut out the petals. Each corrugated petal can be cut individually, or you can use more in a simple way: fold the paper in 4 or 8 layers and cut out the petals along the pre-drawn outline. We twist the tip of each petal as tightly as possible, giving the petal volume. We wrap a green strip around the base of the stem, and then attach the leaves to it. We attach all the resulting petals to the upper end of the stem. You can attach it with glue if the flower is small, or with insulating tape of a suitable color if the rose is large. A few sparkles or beads glued to the edge of the petals will give the flower a very elegant and festive look.

By choosing a certain method and a little practice, you can make beautiful jewelry with your own hands. A paper flower will decorate a holiday table, interior, dress, hat, handmade card, and so on.
