I watched a report from the Krasnoyarsk Territory on a zomboyashchik about how a poltergeist wound up in one of the houses. Then a few videos on YouTube. And under this impression, I decided to make a simple device that would imitate a poltergeist. The principle of operation is simple: a magnet rotates under the table, the magnet rotates the spoon in the cup. The spectacle is crazy.

We will need: a piece of cardboard, double-sided tape, a motor from a broken CD drive, glue, stationery gum, a cup, a spoon. You will also need a connector to connect the power supply. The main part of our device is neodymium magnets. The size of the magnets must be selected in such a way that they are well attracted through the table.

We take out the motor from the CD drive and solder the connector.

Cut out the main parts from cardboard.

From the received parts we assemble such a design. The white squares are double sided tape. Glue a neodymium magnet onto a large circle.

We install the device under the table.

Most cutlery is made of non-magnetic material, so we glue a small neodymium magnet to the spoon.

We put the cup on the table above our device. I put a spoon in it. We turn on our poltergeister and see how the spoon itself interferes with it. If the device makes too much noise, it can be covered with foam rubber glued with adhesive tape.

By the way, this thing can be improved and you get a completely crazy coffee stirrer. To do this, it would be nice to make a button, and even better to install a Hall sensor that is sensitive to the polarity of the magnetic field. Then the device will turn on by itself after we place the spoon in the cup. A neodymium magnet can be integrated more strongly into the spoon, for example: cut a rectangular hole with a dremel and press it in (it is better to take a rectangular magnet, it will hold better).

Most often I am asked about whether it is possible to stop the poltergeist and how to do it. The question of whether it is possible to call a poltergeist, I was asked only a few times. I especially remember one young man who was clearly very interested in a positive answer. Taking me aside, he asked in a low voice: “Is it possible to call a poltergeist in my mother-in-law’s apartment?” The question, of course, is unethical: I would not wish such an adversity on my enemy.

Consider the question in a different plane: are there any factors that, as it were, provoke a poltergeist? Yes, as much as you like! These are the events, incidents or causes after which the outbreak begins (but let me remind you: after this does not mean that as a result of this). The factors provoking poltergeist were collected and analyzed by V. Roll. So, it has been noticed that an outbreak often begins after the death of someone in the house where the future carrier lives, and not necessarily a relative. In a significant proportion of cases, the outbreak began after difficult life problems arose in the carrier's family. Sometimes an outbreak begins after the carrier or the entire family moves to a new location, to a house that was claimed to be haunted. And sometimes - when one of the parents temporarily left, for example, on a business trip. It happened that the poltergeist began after a serious illness of the future carrier or after the future carrier was exposed to unusually strong stress. Often, an outbreak began after the participation of the future carrier in a seance. Sometimes the phenomenon arose in the house where such a carrier used to live, or began to pursue one of his relatives. In one of the cases, the poltergeist began after the future carrier was greatly frightened by the usual knock on the door; however, he had recently moved into a house that was believed to be haunted. And, of course, let's not forget about such a provoking factor as loneliness. For example, in the West, since the 1950s, there has been a sudden increase in the number of poltergeist outbreaks focused on elderly people living alone. This was due to the general deterioration of attitude towards them.

There is another provoking factor, even more "intangible" than loneliness, and one of the most human. I mean sin, or rather, the feeling of sin in all its varied and rich manifestations. After all, the sin we have committed has a much more complex and powerful effect on us than we think. And the fear of committing sin affects us just as much.

The feeling of sin turned out to be a factor that provoked an outbreak of a poltergeist in the house of H. Carrington, one of the most experienced parapsychologists in the United States. And the carrier turned out to be Carrington himself. The poltergeist started after his girlfriend died. But he, not knowing anything about it, one day for some reason wanted to call her. Before that, he had not seen her for almost a year. He was told that she had died the day before.

Carrington began to reproach himself for not calling her earlier. Soon he began to feel someone's presence in his apartment. He couldn't be wrong. This strange invasion of something alien lasted three days. Then knocks began on the walls, on the floor, on the furniture. Sometimes they were very loud...

And the owner himself - grandfather Jew - just went hungry. In our village, they ate from a common cup, everyone eats, and from his spoon everything flies into the air. They invited a priest to serve a prayer service, brought icons, put them on benches. We did not have time to look back, as the icons were under the bench. The priest began a prayer service, and a log flew into him, the deacon began to sprinkle the room - they threw a fur coat on him. “They” threw children of four or five years of age under the ceiling, and they fell to the floor. They were asked: “Are you hurt?” And they answer: they say, no, we do not hurt.

My mother was then 10-12 years old. They pick up berries with their girlfriends and want to treat grandfather Judea, and he replies: “I can’t.” The girls say: it’s possible from us, and they give berries. And they fly from his hand into the air ... Scientists arrived from Moscow, one of them said: “You, grandfather, you need to see a doctor, get treatment.” I didn’t have time to say how the log flew into him, then into the second, into the third. And the firewood, interestingly, flew upside down into them. They didn't show up again. All this was in front of my mother. And when the old man died, everything was quiet.

In some cases, specific actions are reported outsider in relation to the future carrier. For example, in relation to the 14-year-old Odessa girl Lena. She lived with her father, mother and two younger brothers. They had a spare room, they rented it out to a young couple. Shortly thereafter, on August 23, 1910, Lena's mother died. The next day, Lena's head and neck ached, after Sophia's departure, seizures began, and on September 28, 1910, knocking, falling, breaking objects - the usual set of a "teenage" poltergeist.

The Ural landowner V.A. Shchapov, who suffered from a poltergeist in 1870–1871, many years later appeared on the pages of the Rebus magazine (1903, No. 11–14) with his thoughts about possible reasons poltergeist. I found them very interesting.

In those distant years, the word poltergeist was not used. Instead, they spoke of spontaneous mediumistic or spiritistic phenomena, because it was noticed that the phenomena observed in spiritualistic sessions and phenomena of the type of “riot of spirits” are similar in their main manifestations. Only mediumistic phenomena are caused artificially, while poltergeist ones (as we say now) appear as if by themselves, without cause and suddenly. But Shchapov does not agree with this statement: “Almost in these seemingly “spontaneous” phenomena, there is a previous, so to speak, intervention or participation on the part of some person who “released”, as they simply say, these phenomena. This term - "overlapping", "overlapping" was created by the people.

Shchapov cites a number of examples proving the likelihood of "a previous intervention by an outsider - whether gifted with natural abilities for this or acquiring them artificially (which remains a mystery)".

He took some of these examples from books, some from his own observations.

So, the person who “let loose” restless phenomena in the house of Judge Mompesson (England, 1662–1663) was a drummer, a retired soldier, who later confessed to the former judge in revenge in this way for the fact that he had arrested him and confiscated the drum, with which he called for almsgiving. And the court was exiled for it.

The person who “released” evil spirits into the house of the priest of the village of Lychentsy, Vladimir province, Father John Solovyov in 1900-1901, was the stealing cook Praskovya. She, before going to prison, ran to the local sorcerers and then threatened Father John that on the day of the Intercession "both laughter and sin" would happen to him. Stoves are fired, clothes are burned, people are drowned in water, things are carried, hundreds of people are constantly witnessing day and night. I ask for prayers. Shchapov reported the following about his own case. His neighbor, the old Cossack Roman Frolov, really wanted to buy Shchapov's mill, but Shchapov needed it himself. Frolov began to threaten. One of his threats came true in the literal sense: “They will drag you by the hair!” Frolov decided to get Shchapov out of the house, and he did it. According to Shchapov, Frolov was looking for a person who would help him do this. And he helped: Shchapov had to move to another place. And he ordered that his accursed house be demolished.

In 1903, Shchapov investigated the causes of the start of strange events with the 14- or 15-year-old Natasha, who served as a servant in Odessa. She had just been taken from the village. The lodger in the family where she served was a middle-aged doctor. For some reason, everyone was afraid of him, even the owners of the house. Natasha - even more so. Once the hostess asked Natasha to help the doctor who was temporarily leaving to take out his things. Natasha was gone for a long time, and the hostess needed her. She started looking for her. Found under the stairs. Natasha had a complete breakdown, and the hostess barely lifted her from the floor. Later, Natasha said that for some reason the doctor looked at her for a long time and stubbornly with a piercing and heavy look of his black eyes. She tried to leave and asked him if he had forgotten something, but he silently continued to look at her until she seemed to be forgotten under his gaze, and when he had already left, she stood still for a long time, and then barely reached stairs and, exhausted, sank to the floor. And the next morning, a typical "teenage" poltergeist began. Natasha had to be fired.

In the end, Shchapov concludes that with all such phenomena, referred to as "spontaneous", "the intervention of a third party seems to be indispensable and undoubted." He considers it necessary “to turn to a practical investigation on the spot, how and in what way simple people, often even illiterate people, achieve this, and produce these “leaks” and “leaks”, which undoubtedly exist among the people as an irrefutable fact.

The response to Shchapov's materials is very curious. The author of the response explains the case with Natasha by the fact that the doctor is a very strong physical medium, and his mediumistic abilities found support in Natasha's mediumistic abilities. And a medium that can be exploited is easy to find in almost every home.

I will add to this that the 14-year-old nanny became the bearer of poltergeist manifestations in the house of the priest John Solovyov, in the house of Shchapov himself - his 20-year-old wife, in the city of Odessa in 1910 - 14-year-old Lena, in the village of Dmitrovka near Moscow at the end of the past century - the elderly father of the family. In all these cases, as in the case of Natasha, there were overt or covert actions preceding the outbreak on the part of obvious enemies of the families in which the future carriers lived. Some of the enemies carried out these actions personally, some resorted to the help of a "third party", in the words of Shchapov himself.

The reader, I hope, remembers the hypothesis proposed by V.T.Isakov about the “witchy” nature of the induced poltergeist, that is, caused by those who need it. V.T.Isakov calls this person a “hidden face”. Researchers often note a stable connection of the phenomenon with one of the family members, most often a child or teenager. This is confirmed by the fact that when such a carrier is absent or asleep, the lamb does not manifest itself in any way. When the carrier is in another house, poltergeist phenomena also begin to occur there: fire, falling and movement of objects. A case is described when it was worth the boy (carrier) to appear at the neighbors, as the table turned over by itself. The driver, as a rule, does not pay the slightest attention to extraneous tapping and in vain. This methodical knock is lulling, and the driver can fall into a hypnotic state, similar to severe overwork. Accidents in this state are not uncommon. Probably, in all three cases we are dealing with three different forces, but what they are, no one will undertake to say for sure right now. Poltergeist - random movement of objects, accompanied by strange sounds and destructive consequences in the home, has been known since antiquity. - For the period from September 1995 to 2001, the brigade went on calls about a hundred times. The main "poltergeist activity" occurred in the period from 1995 to 1997. At this time, out of 86 brigade calls, 22 cases turned out to be just hoaxes, in 30 cases the service faced various kinds of manifestations. mental disorders at the citizens. In 23 cases, natural causes of disturbing phenomena were identified. During this time, 8 fire and 3 motor poltergeists occurred, accompanied by powerful destructive consequences, the causes of which could not be immediately understood. - And how do you manage to see through the staged poltergeist?

“Usually we set up hidden cameras and pretend to leave. It is here that the “games” reveal themselves. For example, once the cause of the poltergeist was a little boy who had a fight with his grandmother. He threw pots around the house, smeared his mother's cosmetics on the carpet, almost threw a hammer into expensive video equipment. One camera recorded all the pranks of the child. The reason for suspicion appeared immediately when it turned out that the dog behaved calmly. With a real poltergeist, pets are very worried, and cockroaches disappear altogether. The family had to pay the surveillance service 800 rubles a day for the false call. And if we find out that the poltergeist is real, all work is done for free. Moreover, we attract additional specialists: physicists, electrophysiologists and others.

What happens during a real poltergeist?

Poltergeists usually begin with strange sounds and movements of objects, and gradually, over several days or weeks, the rampage in the house intensifies. The sounds become louder and sharper, dishes can start flying around the apartment, light bulbs burst, chandeliers sway, money is taken out of pockets as if by an invisible hand and scattered. In the absence of people in the room or during their sleep, anomalous phenomena, as a rule, stop; in the evenings, when everyone is at home, the poltergeist intensifies. Moreover, the presence of strangers in the house, both guests and researchers, does not in the least prevent the rampage of the “noisy spirit” from continuing. If people, trying to escape from anomalous phenomena, go to a neighboring apartment or temporarily move to relatives, anomalous phenomena most often pester this family or its individual members at a new place of residence. When the victims of the anomaly return home, the poltergeist resumes.

- Is the rampage of the “noisy spirit” really deadly for people, and can there be no stone left on stone from the house?

“The devastating effects of a poltergeist are apt to be exaggerated by rumor. Usually windows do not break in winter. Objects flying at high speed either do not hit people, or turn off without reaching, or stop when they touch the body. Furniture does not fall on a person. And things light up only when at least someone in the house is awake and is able to put out the fire that has begun. In 1997, in a Moscow apartment on Planetnaya Street, the sofa in the living room suddenly flared up and went out. Then suddenly the window sill caught fire, the walls in the kitchen and in the hallway decayed to blackness. Everything in the apartment was turned upside down. Mom, grandmother and 10-year-old son panicked: it became unbearable to live in this devastation.

- And how did you manage to identify and eliminate the cause of a strange phenomenon?

- The cause of spontaneous fires was the son of a woman who called our service. When observing, it was recorded that all poltergeist processes took place in the immediate vicinity of him: two or three meters behind the child's back or in front of the boy's face. As soon as something broke out, the teenager usually ran away to call his mother or grandmother to put out the flaring fire. Our psychologist Tatyana Vorobyeva taught the boy special exercises, with the help of which it was possible to first transfer a dangerous fire poltergeist (when things catch fire) into a motor poltergeist (when objects simply move around the room), and then completely nullify the destructive phenomenon. It turned out that there was a conflict situation in the family. The child reacted very sensitively to the quarrels of the parents, but could not influence them. And so, unconsciously, he began to burn the apartment without the help of matches. Before the appearance of the poltergeist, the boy did not differ in superpowers: he did not bend the spoon for show, he did not foresee the future. When the cause of the poltergeist was established, the teenager simply lost his dangerous abilities.

“Does anyone consciously summon a poltergeist?”

- Poltergeist is just characterized by the fact that it is spontaneous telekinesis. True, people who cause a poltergeist are able to learn to control their abilities and even use them to treat others. True, it is very rare that one of the “instigators” of a poltergeist takes possession of his inner “I”, and we are trying to teach such people this: for example, the ability to translate macrotelekinesis (the ability to move large objects) into microtelekinesis (the ability to influence the movement of microparticles in the human body by willpower, thereby normalizing, for example, metabolism or curing viruses).

- A couple of centuries ago, the expulsion of a poltergeist, which meant a rampage of demons or a brownie, was done by sorcerers or priests. Are they your competitors today?

“Unfortunately, we have no competitors at all, since I doubt that magicians or priests can expel a poltergeist. After all, usually the matter turns out to be in the human head, and not in rampant evil spirits. Poltergeists are caused by unconscious collective unconscious processes. Usually they are controlled by one subject - the cause of the poltergeist. Often these are teenagers from 10 to 15 years old, but there can also be adults. A poltergeist is born as an unconscious protest against pain, humiliation, a reaction to quarrels, conflicts. This phenomenon can occur in conditions of a large concentration of aggressive people (in the army, in prisons). Therefore, our task is not only to eliminate, but also to prevent the appearance of spontaneous telekinesis.

We distribute leaflets with the rules of conduct in case of poltergeists in power structures, because first of all officials, police, employees of local authorities should know that anomalous phenomena exist. You should not immediately drag people who have a poltergeist in their house to a psychiatric hospital, consider them scammers or malicious hooligans. First of all, it is necessary to describe all suspicious and strange phenomena: sounds, facts of movement or ignition of objects, unusual sensations of poltergeist victims. And then call scientists.
