Option 9: Lazy dumplings “Children’s” with candied fruits

For bright, beautiful and very fragrant children's lazy dumplings, we take multi-colored candied fruits and high-quality fat cottage cheese of at least 9%. Only in this case the dish will delight you with its taste and will look very attractive.

Ingredients

  • a pack of cottage cheese (about 200 grams);
  • spoon of candied fruits;
  • small egg;
  • 60-80 g flour;
  • 10 g sugar.

Step by step recipe

Take a small egg, mix with sugar and cottage cheese. We add a little sand, since there is enough of it in candied fruits. Add white flour to make a soft dough.

We make dumplings right away. It is better to wet your hands with water. We make small balls and throw them into boiling water. We wait for the ascent, after which we time it for three minutes. Stir and cook over medium heat.

After three minutes, we catch all the dumplings with candied fruits, trying to shake off the droplets of water as much as possible. Pour melted butter over it and make the children happy.

These dumplings are very tasty and bright, but are intended for feeding children over two years old. If a child has food allergies, you need to study the composition of candied fruits; they may contain citrus fruits or artificial colors.

Option 10: Lazy cottage cheese dumplings with semolina porridge

You can prepare lazy dumplings from cottage cheese not only with the addition of semolina, but also with ready-made porridge. Usually it hardens, becomes steep and is not appetizing. A simple and economical recipe that every housewife should know. The amount of flour is approximate.

Ingredients

  • 250 g semolina porridge;
  • a pack of cottage cheese 9%;
  • egg;
  • a glass of flour;
  • 3 tbsp. l. oils;
  • 1.5 spoons of sugar;
  • a pinch of soda.

How to cook

Semolina porridge needs to be mashed well or simply stirred if it has not thickened too much. After this, add the pureed cottage cheese and egg, add flour and soda. Or throw in a pinch of ripper. Knead the usual lazy dough. We cut it into balls or pieces, having previously rolled out the flagellum.

Boil two liters of salted water. Boil the prepared pieces in the usual way, take them out into a bowl.

Pour oil and sprinkle with sand. You can serve condensed milk or sour cream.

In the above recipe, sugar is not added inside, since usually a small part is present in the porridge. But if desired, we also pour a little sand into the dough.

Option 11: Sweet lazy dumplings “Cherry”

Another very tasty variation of lazy dumplings made from cottage cheese with flour, but also with berries. If we don’t have fresh cherries, take them from the freezer. You can also use berries in your juice, just pour them into a sieve in advance, remove excess juices.

Ingredients

  • 180 g cherries;
  • egg;
  • 300 g cottage cheese;
  • 3 spoons of semolina;
  • 2/3 tbsp. flour;
  • 50 grams of sugar;
  • 50 grams of sour cream.

How to cook

Curd dough is prepared in the usual way. Combine cottage cheese with cereal and add sugar and salt. Grind everything together, add one large egg. Let it sit, then add flour. We determine its quantity ourselves.

While the dough is standing, remove the seeds from the berries. If the cherries are frozen, let them thaw completely. Otherwise there will be too much juice.

Roll out the entire dough into a long ribbon 5-7 cm long. Place a row of cherries in the middle until the very end. We make a tube so that the filling is inside.

Now this tube needs to be cut. We try to make pieces with berries inside, cut between them. Then we compact each one so that the cherry does not “pop out”.

Cook in the most usual way for a couple of minutes after surfacing. Serve with sour cream, you can sprinkle with sugar or cinnamon powder.

In fact, this is just an example of sweet lazy dumplings. In addition to cherries, you can take cherries, pieces of fresh or dried fruit. Dumplings don’t have to be cooked in water; they also turn out great steamed, the filling doesn’t fall out, and the juiciness is preserved.

Lazy dumplings with cottage cheese are a tasty and quick dish, loved by almost all children, and adults too. A great breakfast or dinner that's ready in 30 minutes.

  • 2 packs of cottage cheese
  • 2 eggs
  • 4 tbsp. l. heaps of flour
  • 2 tbsp. l. Sahara
  • 1/4 tsp. salt

The fat content of the cottage cheese does not matter; it is much more important that it be dry enough. Soft cottage cheese will not make tasty lazy dumplings, since you will have to add a lot of flour and in the end there will be more flour than cottage cheese.

Preparation:

Immediately place a pan of water on the stove over low heat, about 2-2.5 liters. While the water is heating up, we will have time to prepare the first portion of lazy dumplings; we will cook the whole thing in two batches.

Break 2 eggs into a bowl, add sugar and salt.

Whisk everything together.

Add cottage cheese and knead it.

Now add flour.

Mix everything thoroughly until smooth.

The dough for lazy dumplings with cottage cheese is ready.
Sprinkle a large cutting board with flour and lay out about a quarter of the dough.

Roll out into a long sausage with a diameter of approximately 2.5 cm.

Cut the sausage into small pieces. Then dip each piece with the sticky side into flour and press lightly with your finger. You get such cute “coins”. In general, of course, it doesn’t matter what shape your dumplings are, you can cut them diagonally, or into balls, as your imagination dictates. But I want to note that when shaped like “coins”, lazy dumplings with cottage cheese cook instantly and well, and are never raw inside.

In the same way we make dumplings from another quarter of dough. By this time the water had already boiled. Add some salt to taste and add the dumplings one by one. Now you need to carefully stir so that the dumplings do not stick to the bottom. When they surface, and this will happen in 2-3 minutes, we take them out with a slotted spoon. There is no need to cook longer, otherwise the dumplings will become loose.

Make dumplings from the remaining 2 quarters of dough and cook the second portion. In fact, description takes much more time than practical actions. While the first portion is cooking, you almost have time to make the second.

Lazy dumplings with cottage cheese are ready. They are very tasty with butter, sprinkled with sugar, or with sour cream, also sprinkled with sugar. Bon appetit!
