Alas, there are obvious problems with decency in some parts of the education system. This is perhaps - from a social point of view - the saddest thing in this whole unattractive story. And the judge “measured out” Denisov even harshly, but still less than the prosecutor's office requested - 10 years of strict regime and a fine of 12.7 million rubles (in fact, he needs to be paid 4.5 million). His “beloved wife” was generally lucky: instead of 5.5 years in a general regime colony, she received five years and one month probation, as well as a fine of 1.7 million rubles.

From the terms of both convicts, you need to subtract the 16 months that he spent with the pre-trial detention center, and she was under house arrest. With the collection of fines, apparently, there will be no problems. Even at the stage of the investigation, the Denisovs' property for 12 million rubles was arrested in interim measures.
