Nice how to get from Barcelona. How to get from Barcelona to Nice or vice versa. Barcelona to Nice: Video

Barcelona is one of the most beautiful cities in Europe! I have been here several times and will no doubt come again. It is worth returning here again and again, if only for the sake of the unusual architectural creations of Gaudí. For the white sand on the beach By the way, the last time I came here was from the Cote d'Azur, Nice, to walk the streets of old Barcelona again. And today I will tell you about how I got from Nice to Barcelona.

By bus

A bus from Nice to Barcelona is for those who can safely stay in it for ten hours or more. But this is not for me, I immediately discarded this option. However, as far as comfort is concerned, I must tell you that all buses going in this direction are adapted for long journeys.

Schedule

This route is operated by the European bus carrier Eurolines. There are four regular direct flights from Nice to Barcelona. But I think that night transfers will be the most convenient. Let's show you an example of a Saturday schedule:

Price

As you can see, the cheapest ticket can be taken from 32.00 euros for a night flight, from 44.00 euros for a day flight.

Where to buy tickets

You can view the schedule, book a seat and pay for the purchase on the official website of the bus carrier, here. Or buy a ticket at the eurolines box office on the spot.

Departure point

Eurolines buses leave from Nice Airport. Aéroport Nice Côte d "Azur is located to the west of the city and can be reached by city bus 730 from the Gare SNCF stop and takes approximately half an hour.

By train

I rarely say that train travel is irrelevant, but in the case of the Nice-Barcelona route, it really is. To get to Barcelona, you will need to make at least 1 change. And the trip itself will take about nine hours on the way. What can we say about the price, tickets for these flights cost an average of 120.00 euros.

By plane

This is the rare case when both the departure time and the price of the plane ticket suited me! Several airlines operate direct flights from Nice to Barcelona.

Schedule

There is only one direct flight to Barcelona, but you need to check the timetable in advance as it differs on weekdays and weekends! For example, here is the schedule for Sunday, departure time 09:15, 1 hour 15 minutes on the way:

Easyjet will depart at 12:50 pm. But be careful, the schedule is different for each month.

Price

  1. Vueling's Economy Class ticket without baggage starts at € 39.00 and is a great value for me.
  2. Easyjet. The ticket price starts from 38.00 euros.

Where to buy tickets

You can schedule for other days and pay for the trip on the official website of the airline or through a special ticket search.

The airport

Aéroport Nice Côte d "Azur. How to get to it, I described above.

By car

Another great travel option for European cities. Between Nice and Barcelona 660 km. Drive by car in about six and a half hours. Everywhere in Europe there is a very high quality road surface. There are a sufficient number of petrol stations along the route. There are Carrefour grocery stores and roadside cafes along the way. The upper speed limit on the Autobahn is 120 km / h in Spain and 130 km / h in France.

Price

So, the cost of renting a car for a day in Nice starts from 30 euros. Add to this the cost of combustible fuel, its price in Nice is on average 1.80 euros per liter. Also in France and Spain, it is customary to charge a toll for the use of highways. How much the Nice-Barcelona route will cost you can calculate on this website. You will need to pay on special sections of the road, you can either in cash or by bank card.

Border crossing

As such, there is no border between European states. The passport will not be checked, there is no customs, no queues.

Where to rent a car

You can rent a car right on the spot, for example, at the airport. But it is better to do this in advance through a special service, by type.

Or in Barcelona you want to see something else. I will tell you how to arrange an independent trip to the French Riviera and see Nice, Monaco and Cannes. Moreover, it will cost less and will definitely be more interesting than the usual group excursion.

How to get from Barcelona to Nice (from Blanes to Nice)

The most expensive option is to get there. to Nice by train... If the desire arose spontaneously, then we take the train and go with transfers to Nice, for example: Barcelona - Montpellier - Marseille - Nice. The ticket office will tell you where it is best to change seats. There are no cheap train tickets, even if you decide to buy them in advance.

The cheapest option is by plane... My favorite option! But here it is better to buy tickets in advance, then a direct flight from Barcelona to Nice will cost 40-60 euros in both directions.

Look for direct flights with Easyjet - just over 1 hour fly and you are in Nice! See the cheapest flights and price comparisons of different airlines.

From Blanes and Lloret de Mar, you can leave inexpensively directly to Nice by bus- it goes at night, it takes 9.5 hours, it costs a little more than an air ticket (if without sales).

Where to stay in Nice

In the photo: Nice is a popular city

The resort is popular, so you need to book a hotel either in advance or on the day of arrival (but not upon arrival!). The cheapest is to stay at a hostel. A couple of minutes from the station and 10 minutes from the sea there is an excellent inexpensive hostel Hotel Ozz - in the very center, rooms with a private bathroom, there is even a kitchen at the reception. In 5-10 minutes the Chagall Museum, the Museum of Modern Art and the Cathedral of St. Nicholas, a little further - the Matisse Museum.

From the station nearby, you can take a train and go to Cannes for a day (20-40 minutes) to stroll along the famous Croisette, see where film festivals take place, and personally meet celebrities.

Nice to Monaco

In the photo: a bus from Nice to Monaco

The bus is easily accessible from Nice to Monaco. From Piazza Garibaldi (10 minutes from the hotel) you need to take bus 100, pay 1.5 euros per person to the driver, and see scenic spots along the way. Half an hour and you are in Monte Carlo. We walked for several hours and back.

If you are traveling on a tour to the Costa Brava resorts, then the guides will offer an excursion to Nice. Price - from 200 euros per person with one night in Nice. Perhaps it will be convenient for someone. It seemed to us that spending only one night in Nice is somehow very little. So we went on our own.

In the photo: a walk along the waterfront in Nice

Arriving in Nice, stayed there for 2 nights, and then another night in Cannes. In general, I liked Cannes even more than Nice: in Cannes there is a sandy beach (in Nice - pebbles). Cannes is smaller and quieter, more pleasant to walk. And extraordinary eucalyptus air. Nice, usually touristy.

For three nights in hotels, we paid 260 euros + 110 euros for a round-trip flight for two. It turned out that for an excursion from Barcelona to Nice, we would pay only 400 euros for 1 night for two (besides, the excursion does not include Cannes, but we really wanted to see), and if we go by ourselves, then for 3 nights 370 euros for two and we all looked what we wanted. And they did not regret it!
Next time we are going to take a ride along the Cote d'Azur, get to
