On Palm Sunday, palm markets were held where one could buy sweets, toys, books, as well as bunches of willow with paper angels tied to them. In some places in our country, flat cakes or bagels were baked on this day, which, after consecration in the church, were given to all family members and livestock so that no one would get sick during the year.

The presentation tells about the Orthodox holiday of Palm Sunday, which precedes Easter. This day has many interesting traditions, its own customs, signs, which will be interesting for schoolchildren to learn about during a class hour or a defense industry lesson. You can download the manual from the link for free and for music or art lessons. There is no abstract in the archive.

From the development slides, schoolchildren will learn the history of Palm Sunday. This date is celebrated on the day when the Lord entered Jerusalem a week before Easter. When he entered the city, people greeted him joyfully. They expressed their joy with cheers. Each one held palm branches with which the people greeted their hero. Palm trees don’t grow here, so on this day everyone gathers in church and blesses the branches of the willow tree, which usually blooms for this holiday. That's how it got its name - Palm Sunday.

A presentation on the theme “Palm Sunday” was made for kindergarten children or elementary school students. During this class or lesson (lesson), schoolchildren will be able to get acquainted with the history of the holiday and get to know its traditions better. You can download the development made by the teacher on 17 slides for free.

Many children are familiar with the holiday when everyone goes to the temple to bless willow branches. But do preschool pupils know the history of this unusual tradition? Most likely, not all, so this work will help correct the situation. Let every preschooler learn about how Jesus Christ was once greeted on this day in Jerusalem as he entered the city.

The presentation will introduce schoolchildren to the history of Palm Sunday and help them decide what kind of postcard they can give to their relatives on this holiday, since part of the work on the topic “Drawing a willow tree” is devoted to a description of this particular process.

The willow is one of the symbols of the coming spring. It is her delicate silver seals that bloom on modest trees. Nature is instantly transformed. This tree has long been noticed for its unusual meeting of spring and was awarded special respect. It is the willow branches that are blessed in the church on the day of the holiday. Invite schoolchildren in grades 1 - 4 to draw a postcard during an art or technology lesson, the main place on which will be occupied by these festive branches. The work shows a step-by-step image of the composition.

The presentation tells about the great holiday of the Entry of the Lord into Jerusalem, which is better known among the people, and even our children, as Palm Sunday. You can download this wonderful electronic work for classroom hours in primary and secondary schools, for ORKSE lessons in 4th grade, or for classes with children in Sunday school.

The manual was prepared on 12 slides. The story about the holiday begins with a description of the events of Lazarus Saturday, when the resurrection of Saint Lazarus took place. After this event, the people began to treat Jesus even more favorably and believe him, and the Pharisees plotted his murder. After this, Jesus went with his disciples to Jerusalem, where he was greeted as a great teacher, waving palm branches. In our country, this tradition of celebrating the holiday is replaced by blossoming willow branches, which is why they call the day of the Lord’s Entry into Jerusalem Palm Sunday.

    Teacher's word.

In seventh grade we met the artist Konstantin Fedorovich Yuon when we were working on an essay based on his painting “The End of Winter. Noon". This year we meet with the artist again. Let's remember some pages of his biography and creativity.

    Message about the artist.

Konstantin Fedorovich Yuon born (12) October 24, 1875 in Moscow. Fate favored him in every possible way - he lived a long life, he had an extremely happy marriage, those around him loved him, he never had to struggle with poverty. Success came to him very early and always accompanied him.

There were fewer adversities - a quarrel for several years with his father (a bank employee) over Yuon's marriage to a peasant woman and the early death of one of his sons.

His paintings were noticed at student exhibitions - the public bought them so willingly that the student Yuon was able to travel around Russia and Europe. Subsequently, his paintings were always welcome at a variety of exhibitions. Soon after graduating from college, Yuon began teaching and did it all his life.

Yuon left many works of different levels. He was a painter, graphic artist and theater designer. He tried himself in thematic painting, painted portraits of his contemporaries, but his true calling turned out to be landscape painting.

In his memory, the discovery of ancient Russian icon painting took place. Restorers began to clean the icons and discovered bright, pure colors. All this influenced the formation of Yuon’s manner.

He loved joy and beauty in nature and life; most willingly depicted the sun, snow, bright folk clothes, monuments of ancient Russian architecture (“Trinity Lavra in winter”, “Spring Sunny Day”, both 1910; “March Sun”, 1915). His painting “Domes and Swallows” is very famous. Assumption Cathedral of the Trinity-Sergius Lavra" (1921).

Among Yuon's later works, those written in the village of Ligachevo near Moscow, where the artist had a house and where he worked from 1908 to 1958, stand out. The artist Konstantin Fedorovich Yuon died on April 11, 1958.

The famous Russian artist Yuon Konstantin Fedorovich lived and worked mainly in Moscow and the town of Ligachevo near Moscow. He loved to paint portraits, architectural monuments and landscapes of his favorite places. Landscapes of his native Moscow region are captured in Yuon’s paintings “March Sun. Ligachevo”, “Spring Sunny Day”, “End of Winter. Afternoon”

The features of the landscape creativity of Konstantin Fedorovich Yuon are fully expressed in the painting “March Sun”. The painting captures that joyful moment when the first spring comes, called by M.M. Prishvin “the spring of color.”

    Sample essay

Konstantin Fedorovich Yuon is a wonderful painter and landscape painter. His paintings are festive. It's joyful to look at it sunny landscape "March Sun". In the painting, the artist with great skill conveys the high spirits of meeting the first month of spring. Nature has been waiting for the arrival of spring for a long time.

The painter captured on canvas that state of nature when the snowdrifts have not yet melted and the snow crunches under boots, but in the bright blue sky and in the transparent air there is already a subtle feeling of spring warmth. March is a special month when spring is just coming into its own. There is still melted snow on the roadsides. It basks in the rays of the March sun and melts imperceptibly. The trees are rejoicing at the arrival of spring, but they are not yet ready to acquire luxurious foliage. It’s just that everyone understands that the March sun is a deceptive warmth that is not ready to please for a long time. Carved village houses, leaning slightly, expose their sides to the warm March sun.

In the foreground, the artist depicted two village children on horses. They bring life and movement into the picture. The snow clearly leaves traces of horse hooves and it seems as if we can hear the cracking of snow crusts. The peasant children had just left the village. We see that behind us a black dog is barking joyfully, playing with someone’s bright red foal that has strayed from the yard, as if calling him to come back home.

In the center of the picture are slender white-trunked birches. Long bluish shadows fall from the trees. The March rays gild and blind the roofs of houses and the bare tops of trees. The sky is filled with a bright azure color, because of this the canvas acquires incredible brightness of colors! Transparent snow-white clouds slowly float over the trees. The bright colors of the canvas - combinations of blue, gold, pink, lilac - help the painter convey the feeling of the first spring warmth and light. All this together sets the theme of the landscape - the theme of the joyful and solemn awakening of nature.

In his painting, the artist interprets the traditional Russian landscape in a new way. Topics. Colorful decorativeness does not exclude spatial depth and vitality. The rhythmic structure of the composition, which is usual for Yuon, is particularly perfect here. The artist deliberately highlights the trunks of tall poplars, their branches majestically spread out against the blue sky and other details.

A peaceful genre scene masterfully integrated into the landscape forms an integral part of the picture. It is impossible to imagine the landscape itself without horses, village children and a passionately barking yard dog, because the artist deeply loves this lived-in and cozy nature of the Moscow region.

This picture is about the peculiar mood that every person experiences at the end of winter. Everything is tired. Everything is waiting for warmth and light, but what a pity the passing winter with its beauty, with its fun. Happy to wait and feel the approach of spring. A cheerful spring spirit hangs in the air, the whole picture is thoroughly permeated with it . I want to breathe in the creaky frosty March air!
