  • To prepare the mixture, you should use only fresh domestic eggs. It is strictly forbidden to use eggs from an incubator; the yolk in them is not so yellow and does not have the properties necessary for the ideal preparation of Advocate liqueur.
  • The finished mixture should be poured into bottles and left to cool in a cool place, but not in the refrigerator; temperature changes can ruin the taste of the drink.
  • When grinding food, you need to make sure that there are no lumps left. Or, after cooking, rub the resulting mixture through a fine sieve.

If you decide to prepare steamed egg liqueur at home, then you also need to adhere to the following rules:

  • First of all, you should monitor the temperature; you must not overheat the mixture, otherwise you will end up with fried egg yolk and vodka. Mathematical precision is required, the mixture must be heated to a temperature of 62 degrees Celsius.
  • The second important point: the drink is prepared in a water bath. Water is poured into the pan, heated to temperature, and a bowl is placed on it in which the base of the future liqueur will be prepared. Pour enough water into the pan so that the bowl does not touch the hot liquid.
  • In order for the drink to be a success, you should prepare a container with ice in advance, heated to 62 degrees, the mixture should be cooled immediately, continuing to whisk.

Recipe Ingredients

  • Several large domestic eggs with bright yellow yolks. The yolks will need to be separated from the whites. For liqueur you only need yolks. In our version we take 10 pieces.
  • As a sweet component, you need to take one of the following ingredients - 1 can of condensed milk, 100 grams of honey or a glass of sugar (powdered sugar).
  • Some recipes use cream (120 grams with a fat content of at least 10%) or milk, which is heated to a temperature of 60 degrees.
  • Alcohol. For liqueur you can use cognac, rum, brandy or. The volume of liquid in the given recipe is 250 ml.
  • Vanillin (1 pack) can be added as a spice to add a specific aroma.

Preparation time for Advocate liqueur at home: 15 minutes for normal mixing of ingredients; 1 hour for heated option.

The finished product should be infused in a dark, cool place for at least 3 days. You can do it in the refrigerator, but for better thickening, a cool cellar is suitable; in such conditions it will infuse more slowly, but will acquire the necessary consistency and be filled with a more pleasant aroma.

Cooking process

  • At the first stage, the yolks are separated from the whites and thoroughly beaten with a whisk.
  • Next, sweetness (sugar, powdered sugar, honey, condensed milk) is added to the yolks and beaten.
  • Carefully pour in hot milk or cold cream, add vanillin, if desired, you can add a few drops of your favorite flavoring. The mixture must be thoroughly whisked again so that even the smallest lumps do not remain.
  • Pour in an alcohol-containing liquid (vodka, rum, cognac, brandy) and stir again.
  • To avoid lumps, it is advisable to pass the finished drink through a sieve.
  • Pour into a prepared clean container and leave for several days to obtain the desired thick consistency.


Important! Instead of a whisk, it is better to use a blender.
In this case, you won’t have to worry about poorly mixed ingredients, and you won’t need to grind the mixture through a fine sieve.

The hot cooking method is carried out in the same way as the cold one, only all manipulations are carried out using steam.

  • Condensed milk – 1 can;
  • 15 percent cream – 120 ml;
  • Vanillin – 2 g.

Among the listed ingredients, the alcohol base plays a huge role. It is not advisable to replace grape brandy with anything. But if you really want to, they still replace it with either alcohol, vodka, or spiced rum. Condensed milk may not be thick, but it must be of high quality. Eggs should have the yellowest yolks.   2. Mix everything, you can beat it with a blender to get a homogeneous and thick mass.
  3. Cognac is poured into the bowl, followed by cream and everything is mixed again.
  4. The finished drink is poured into a liter container and transferred to the basement for four days. During this time, the liqueur is infused.
  5. The liqueur infused for four days is filtered through cheesecloth, poured back into the bottle and transferred to the basement for infusion, now for a week.

  • Egg yolks – 8 pieces;
  • Sugar – 240 g;
  • Milk – 400 ml;
  • Brandy – 0.5 l.

Cooking process

  1. The yolks are carefully separated from the whites. Place the milk on the fire and bring to a boil.
  2. Place the container with the yolks in a water bath, add sugar and beat until creamy, only being careful to ensure that the yolks do not curdle. To do this, it is important that the water in the pan does not reach the bottom of the bowl, and the heat must be low.
  3. At the moment when the yolks begin to resemble a thin sauce, milk is poured into them.
  4. Remove the bowl from the water bath, allow the contents to cool, only after that add cognac and mix the composition again.
  5. Egg liqueur is poured into bottles that have previously been sterilized, closed tightly and transferred to a dark place for four days to mature.

- 50-70 g granulated sugar;

- 150-200 ml of condensed milk without sugar;
- 1/2 tsp. lemon extract;
- 3/4 tsp. vanillin.
Mix all the ingredients in a blender for 30 seconds, pour the resulting mixture into bottles and put in the refrigerator for 1-2 weeks to allow the liqueur to infuse.

Liqueur "Advocate" (recipe No. 3):
- 1.5 liters of milk or cream;
- 1 liter of vodka or cognac;
- 700-1000 g granulated sugar;
- 16 yolks;
- vanillin to taste.
Thoroughly grind the yolks with sugar and pour milk into the resulting mass - mix everything thoroughly, add vodka and mix again. If desired, you can add vanillin. The resulting drink can be infused, or you can drink it straight away.
