Mod how to set fire to a tank. Penetration zones and weak points of tanks in World of Tanks Blitz. A few tips - how and where to shoot to penetrate an enemy tank

Mod zone of penetration of ammunition racks and fuel tanks of tanks for World of Tanks - how to set fire to a tank

The mod is made specifically for those who do not like skins with penetration zones, but want to blow up and set fire to enemy vehicles, not knowing where to aim. Lightweight ashes of penetration show the location of only the ammo rack and fuel banks. If you don't know how to set fire to a tank, the skins of World of Tanks will help you with this!

Bite skins are made for all nations:

USSR - 53 tanks.

USA - 31 tanks.

Britain - 19 tanks.

France - 20 tanks.

Germany - 36 tanks.

China - 18 tanks.

Japan - 7 tanks.

Almost all the equipment of 9-10 levels was included. More details in the screenshot:

After the LBZ was introduced into the game, many tankers began to think about how to set the tank on fire? In the first campaign for medium tanks there is a task in which you need to set fire to the tank. It was for the LBZ that the mod of the penetration zone of the ammunition rack and the World of Tanks fuel tanks was made. With it, you will know where to aim to set fire to the tank.

The mod will be useful not only for completing this single combat mission, but also for a simple game in randomness and companies. With it, you will be aware of the enemy's weaknesses. Over time, you will remember where to shoot in order to get a frag and you can remove the skins.

For World of Tanks, modmakers have already created several variants of skins with weak points, but this mod is slightly different, because it marks the location of fuel tanks and ammunition on the texture of the vehicle.

Description of zones of penetration of ammunition racks and fuel tanks

The usefulness of these skins is that you will be more likely to destroy the enemy by blowing up or damaging his BC. In addition to ammunition, fire can be fired on fuel tanks, damage to which can cause a fire in an enemy tank. Remembering the location of these zones on absolutely all vehicles in the game is unrealistic, in each tank the modules are located differently, but thanks to the mod, everything will be shown clearly.

  • Damage to fuel tanks. A fire in a tank can be caused in two ways - by shooting at the engine or tanks. In the first case, the tank will be slowed down (if the engine is damaged), but if the tanks are damaged, the likelihood of fire will increase. If the enemy does not have time to extinguish the fire in time, he will lose not only a huge number of hit points, but also receive damage to many important modules.
  • Shooting at ammunition is also a very effective technique. With the help of it, you can increase the reload time, and if luck smiles on you, the enemy will lose the tower altogether, it will come off as a result of the explosion of the ammunition battery.

As you can see in the screenshot below, the fuel tanks are marked in dark pink, and the ammunition load is displayed on the skin in the form of a turquoise shell icon.

You can install other skins, for example, show the location of the crew and mark weak areas in the protection of the car. But keep in mind, skins from this material will conflict with them, so choose one thing.

As a result, your productivity will increase, because you don't have to waste projectiles on thick armor. Most of all, these mods are useful for beginners, but experienced tankers will also receive a significant advantage.

As I said, let's start with the terminology. So, as you know, any tank has 8 functional modules, these are: a tower (most tank destroyers do not have it), a gun, a walkie-talkie, a caterpillar, ammunition rack, an engine, fuel tanks, observation devices. Damage to each greatly affects the combat effectiveness of the tank, which can be critical in the midst of a battle. In addition, each module has its own booking level, as well as its own amount of hp. Therefore, in our famous T1 design bureau, it can either shoot down the IS-3 caterpillar, or, well, beat the Rhm.-Borsig Waffentrager.

How to set fire to a tank

There are two ways to set fire to a tank:
  • Critical damage to tanks;
  • getting into the engine.

We shoot at the tanks

If the tanks are completely damaged, the tank ignites. Everything is extremely simple here. We got into Bucky, removed all HP from them and the tank caught fire. It is in the tanks (they are located along the entire length of the sides, and therefore it is very difficult to miss them when you shoot at the side), and not in the engine, as some players think, that the secret of fire lies. Therefore, the Skill of the driver-mechanic "Cleanliness and Order" on Soviet tanks is considered absolutely useless.

We shoot the engine

Getting into the engine is more complicated. When you put the engine on, did you see the percentage on fire? What does it mean? If the percentage on fire is 15%, then approximately 15 out of 100 engine hits will end in fire (this value may be higher, or maybe less, that's how lucky, but over time the value of these will approach 15 out of 100).

The game also has one feature: the transmission is also a part of the engine, therefore, once it gets into the transmission, the game will consider it as hitting the engine, and this can end not only with critical damage (crit) of the engine, but also with fire. So the transmission of German tanks is located in the front, in the NLD, which makes them (together with weak armor) very uncomfortable for beginners. But experienced players first learn the mechanics - the driver is "Cleanliness and Order" in order to reduce the number of arson attacks by half, and at the same time keep their nerves and the hp of their tank.

Ammo rack detonation

Well, okay arson, it will be extinguished after a while, there is also a fire extinguisher, but what about the detonation of the ammunition rack? Boom and that's it, no turret or tank. What to do now? We need to learn some rules. And the first is the most simple: do not substitute the places where you have a bookmaker!

If you see that detonation and damage are too frequent, study the skill "Non-contact ammunition stowage" from the loader, if this does not help, then we put the equipment "Wet stowage", well, or revise tactics.

How to blow up an enemy's ammo rack

And how not only not to remain without the tower, but also to disrupt the enemy? Undermining the enemy's BC will be in the following conditions:
  • Penetration of the enemy (if the module is internal, and the BC is just that);
  • Modulo hit;
  • Breaking through the module (as mentioned, each module has its own reservation);
  • Destruction (crit) of the module (each module has its own hp).

How to find the ammo rack

"How will I then find out where is the enemy's ammunition rack?" - you ask. There are two options:
  • Download skins with penetration zones;
  • Remember.
Let everyone choose to their liking, it is easier to download the skins, and it is safer to remember (what will you do if the enemy is behind the bushes?). If all the conditions are met, you will see a beautiful fireworks display ... “Watch out from above !!! Hu ... I almost nailed the Mouse tower ... "

What is more profitable to shoot?

As you know, the most destructive shells are.

But there is one caveat: they rarely reach modules, since they do not penetrate armor. They can be used to critique something to LT, or to the French. It is worth noting a British land mine with increased armor penetration, as they are capable of well critical not only weakly armored targets, but also stronger targets ... There is almost no difference in the rest, except that the tank's armor can play the role of a screen in relation to the module, and the module may not be penetrated. In relation to modules, there is no difference.

I think that's all. Have a good bend for the tankers, and remember: "The main part of any weapon is the head of its owner."

An ammunition rack is a device for placing ammunition or shells in a tank. It provides not only their fastening in the established places, but also the possibility of quick extraction for shooting.

In order to inflict tangible and maximum possible damage to the enemy in the game World of Tanks, first you should familiarize yourself with the weakest and most vulnerable spots that most tanks have. So, the greatest damage to enemy combat vehicles can be inflicted in two ways: setting fire and explosion.

Set fire

In this case, in addition to the damage received from the projectile, enemy vehicles will also receive permanent damage from fire. And you can set fire to the enemy if you shoot him in the stern - where the engine and tanks are. This rule applies to all machines. So, for example, the Germans are excellently set on fire when you break through their lower armor plate.

Blow up the ammo rack

It has one drawback - in this case, it can be quite difficult to inflict damage in one shot, and even more so it is impossible to completely destroy the enemy. And not all tanks will have such a number.

Important: As a rule, the ammo rack explodes only from repeated hits, that is, after it was able to receive critical damage.

Remember - ammo rack explosions are most common on light and medium tanks, but sometimes this also happens on heavy tier 10 vehicles such as the IS-7.

In addition, you can advise to shoot with land mines at vehicles that are weakly armored, for example, at the top tank destroyer Waffentrager E-100.
