Preheat the oven to 180 degrees in advance. Mix in a bowl a glass of 150-200 grams (you can chop or leave whole), 100 grams of sunflower seeds and 80 grams of sesame seeds. Add 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil and 5-6 tablespoons of liquid honey to the dry mixture. Cover the baking sheet with parchment and spread out the muesli, leveling them with your hands evenly over the entire area. We bake for 40 minutes, stirring from time to time so as not to stick together. 5 minutes before the end of cooking, lightly salt and add a glass of black raisins. If you like it sweeter, you can use 50 grams of brown sugar.

How to store baked muesli?

Transfer the cooled granola into a glass jar with a lid (several cans can be used) and put it in a kitchen cabinet or refrigerator. This supply is enough for 5-8 breakfasts depending on your appetite.

And now a few words about how this dish is eaten. The most popular option is to pour it with kefir or unsweetened yogurt. But you can also make a real dessert. To do this, put in a tall glass: yogurt (50 grams), 2 tablespoons of granola, berry sauce (from frozen or fresh berries, whipped with a blender), then yogurt again, and so on, until you reach the top. How to make homemade granola

We take a large cast iron pan, pour the oatmeal, put it on the stove. Stirring constantly, heat over medium heat. Fry the flakes until golden brown.


Fry all seeds separately. They are of different sizes and therefore require different roasting times. First, put the sunflower seeds, stirring, cook them until golden brown.


Then fry the blanched peanuts. Chop the nuts with a knife or crush them with a wooden pestle.


White sesame seeds will cook very quickly, especially when sprinkled on a hot skillet. As soon as it is golden, you need to transfer the seeds to a cold plate or board.


Dried apricots and dates are cut into strips or small cubes. It is very convenient to "cut" dried fruits with tailor's scissors - it turns out quickly.


Pour oatmeal, dried fruits and toasted seeds into a deep bowl.


We add flax seeds, they do not need to be pre-processed.


To add an oriental aroma and taste, we season the dish with ground cinnamon and orange peel powder. Instead of powder, you can peel off the zest from an orange or lemon.

  2. In a small saucepan, combine honey (or syrup), sugar, salt and vegetable oil. Place the pot over low heat and stir until the sugar is completely dissolved. Then remove from heat and add vanillin.
  3. Grind 1/2 cup of oatmeal in a blender. Add to the saucepan along with the rest of the cereal, dried berries and almonds. After wetting your hands, knead everything until smooth.

3. Then combine the two mixtures, stirring well.

4. We spread the resulting mass on parchment. Remember? The thinner it is distributed, the better. And put it in the oven for 30-40 minutes. When baking, stir the granola every 10 minutes.

5. Then let it cool. We try some of it right there, mixing it with yogurt. The other one is poured into a jar, tightly closed and put into the refrigerator.

How to eat homemade granola

For an afternoon snack, you can cook baked apples or pears with granola. For 2 fruits, you will need about 3 tbsp. spoons of the mixture and 2 tbsp. spoons of any syrup, but better than maple. Mix everything. Cut off, for example, the tops of pears, remove the center and add the filling. Cover the fruit with lids and bake in the oven for 25 minutes at a temperature of 175-180 degrees.
