University emblem (2000-2006)
Moscow State Humanitarian University named after. M. A. Sholokhov was created as the Moscow State Correspondence Pedagogical Institute in 1951 (MGZPI). In 1987, the university opened full-time departments in the faculties of Russian language and literature, physics and mathematics, preschool education, and primary classes.
In the early 1990s, MGZPI demonstrated high mobility and sensitivity to modern realities, due to which in 1992 MGZPI was renamed the Moscow State Open Pedagogical Institute (MGOPI).
On January 10, 1995, the university was given the status of “university”, and the name was changed to Moscow State Open Pedagogical University (MGOPU). By decree of the Moscow Government on May 16, 2000, the University was named after the writer M. A. Sholokhov, the resulting name was MGOPU named after. M. A. Sholokhova.
On October 19, 2006, the university became a humanitarian university and received a new name - Moscow State Humanitarian University named after M. A. Sholokhov (MSGU named after M. A. Sholokhov).
The university was one of the largest scientific centers in Russia on the problems of pedagogical and humanitarian education.
Cooperation was carried out on a wide scale with scientific institutions of the Russian Academy of Education, as well as cooperation in training scientific personnel with universities in the CIS, Great Britain, Germany, Israel, Iraq, Finland, Poland, China and other countries.
MSGU was a co-founder of the International Academy of Sciences of Teacher Education (IASPE).
MGGU im. M. A. Sholokhov was the leading university in Russia in the field of applied humanitarian knowledge (humanitarian technologies).
At the time of joining MPGU, more than 14 thousand students were studying at the university in 65 areas of training (bachelor's and master's degrees). The educational process was conducted by famous professors, doctors and candidates of science, academicians and corresponding members of the Russian Academy of Education, members of foreign academies, honored figures of science, culture, art and education of the Russian Federation. More than 80% of teachers conducted classes using original programs.
Among the most famous teachers are Galina Alekseevna Avanesova, Andrei Aleksandrovich Verbitsky, Naum Yakovlevich Vilenkin, Alexander Ivanovich Laktionov, Robert Semyonovich Nemov, Mikhail Viktorovich Panov, Lyudmila Aleksandrovna Rapatskaya, Irina Sergeevna Sventsitskaya and others.

At the initial stage of training, great attention is paid to the issues of hand positioning, basic technique and the basics of musical literacy. I help more advanced musicians not only deepen their existing knowledge and acquire new skills, but also happily help them apply the acquired skills in practice - recording, concerts, rehearsals, creation of an author's project or ensemble/musical group. I believe in the limitless possibilities of my students, so I always take their wildest dreams seriously, trying to help them go from the first notes to the release of their own album. At the same time, I try to approach each student individually, if he just needs to learn the basic technique for playing music at home, then his desire is the law, but I will always be happy to open the doors wider to him into the world of music, inviting him to participate in concerts, play in ensembles and musical groups, record and strive for new heights! A friendly atmosphere and extracurricular musical life are is also an important element of the harmonious development of each musician, so I try to pay a lot of attention to this aspect. During the training, various textbooks and materials from leading modern and classical authors and schools are used. At the student’s choice, training takes place in both an academic course and a course pop-jazz direction. A combination of these directions is possible.
